By creating an account and using Vyn, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
Vyn is a personal AI life companion that helps you store, organise and retrieve important documents and information. Vyn is currently in beta — features may change, and the service is provided as-is during this period.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must not share your account with others. You must be at least 13 years old to use Vyn. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You retain full ownership of all documents and content you upload to Vyn. By uploading content, you grant Vyn a limited licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will never use it for any other purpose.
You agree not to use Vyn to: • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data • Use the service in any way that could damage, disable or impair it • Upload malicious files or content • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Vyn uses AI to summarise and analyse your documents. While we strive for accuracy, AI responses may occasionally contain errors. You should not rely solely on Vyn for important legal, financial or medical decisions. Always verify critical information from original sources.
Vyn is currently in beta. This means: • Features may be added, changed or removed without notice • The service may occasionally be unavailable • We may impose usage limits during this period • Pricing and plans may change when we exit beta We will give reasonable notice of any significant changes.
Your use of Vyn is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms. Please read it carefully.
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Vyn is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use of Vyn after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
